TAC Trigger -

The Overwatch Precision TAC Trigger is a flat-faced, direct drop-in replacement for your OEM trigger. Each trigger shoe and trigger safety tab is machined in the USA out of 7075-T6 aluminum alloy, and affixed to an NP3 plated, Gen 3 OEM trigger bar by 316 Stainless Steel coiled spring pins. The trigger shoe and safety tab are both Type III hard coat anodized to MIL-A-8625 standard.

The small indexing hook ensures consistent trigger finger placement, and the broad, flat face of the trigger allows a uniquely self-correcting, straight rearward press. The flat face reduces trigger reach by 0.24", making this an ideal option for smaller statured shooters. Pre-travel has been reduced as much as possible without compromising firearm safety features, resulting in a clean, crisp break, and reduced overtravel. Robar's NP3 plating provides virtually impermeable corrosion resistance and smooth, grit-free operation. Note that trigger pull weight does not change from factory weight with the use of this trigger alone.

End Result: This trigger is a tank. A sexy tank. Just in case you were wondering, the only difference between the Tac trigger and the DAT trigger is the small lip on the bottom of the Tac. Otherwise they are identical both form and function wise.

Important Notes:

In case you were wondering, Gen 3 trigger bars are completely functional and safe in Gen 4 weapons.

Also, our lawyer says that this should be installed by a qualified gunsmith.

    Rose gold TAC trigger.

Super fast shipping and trigger went in without a problem. Finish on trigger is excellent and matches the copper pieces I have as well. The ergonomics, take up and reset of the trigger are way better than stock.

    Professional Workmanship

This is the third aftermarket trigger I've purchased. While not as "flashy" as the ZEV Fulcrum it is clear that more attention to functionality and practicality were put into the TAC trigger. Per their recommendation I got a factory dot connector. I first had the ZEV v4 connector and while I could certainly appreciated the operational improvements of the TAC, the dot connector brought it all together with a very crisp break and reset. While I wouldn't recommend this for competition it definitely the ideal for any duty Glock.

    Nice and snappy

Much shorter take up than stock, nice clean break and return. I like that it uses more stock glock parts than most other triggers for reliability sake. May swap out to a ghost connector eventually. Best upgrade I have done by far!

    Great Glock Trigger

What a great drop-in trigger upgrade/replacement! Light-years better than what Glock provides out of the box. So simple and quick to install, there's no reason not to try this trigger if you plan on spending any decent amount of practice time with your 43. Your finger and your group size will thank you for this flat-faced trigger shoe and widened safety blade.

    Tac Trigger

This combined with the NP3 minus connector is a home run. I have shorter fingers and the reduced trigger reach allowed me to improve virtually everything about holding a Glock 19. I can now get a grip that allows much better recoil control, and still lands the first pad of my trigger finger exactly where it should be for a clean press to the rear. And the break is everything you can ask out of a custom trigger, minimal take up and a crystal clean wall that I didn't think a Glock Gen 4 could achieve. Short, utterly predictable reset that did NOT defeat any of the safety features and kept the pull weight at a carry-safe place. But that weight breaks SO cleanly! It's allowed me to fix problems I've had with the stock Glock trigger and get so much more out of both dry fire and range time. If you struggle with the length of pull on a stock trigger, this trigger will allow you to put in the work to make massive improvements in your technique. It is not a drop-in substitute for doing the work, but nothing is. Get this and the NP3 minus connector, lightly lube the contact surfaces and you'll be amazed with what you get without polishing. I'd be worried about "polishing" the tough but thin NP3 coating if you get too carried away, and in my opinion it's totally unnecessary with this trigger anyway. Buy this trigger/connector combo, I didn't think ANY trigger would be worth this money - I was totally wrong. I bought a second for a different Gen 4 19 the day after I installed the first one. It's that good.

    Fantastic Trigger

Posted by Jonathan on Feb 13th 2017

Great trigger! I Had heard many good things about the Tac Trigger and I have shot a few other top brands before deciding to take the leap a pick this up. I wanted a trigger that didn't change the spring setup and could be used in my EDC G19 Gen 3. This trigger is so far and away better than the stock Glock trigger. The shorter reach is great since I have Gen 3 and medium sized hands aka. No adjustable back straps. The take-up is nice and short. The break is crisp and much cleaner of a break than the heavy “wall” that my stock trigger had. I find I shoot more consistent with flat face triggers, and I also hate the feel of the serrated G19 rounded trigger. The tactile reset is crisp and audible as well. It took a few sessions of dry-fire to smooth the trigger out and mate with the rest of the internals of my well used Glock which may be something to note depending on how new/old your pistol is. I mention this because the break felt noticeable smoother after break-in. Overall, I definitely notice better group consistency on the range. If you are looking for a nice easy drop-in for your EDC, I would highly suggest the Tac.
