The Overwatch Precision PolyDAT for the Smith & Wesson M&P Shield and Shield Plus is designed for shooters who demand a tangible improvement in performance without adding unnecessary complexity or cost. Built on the proven design of our flagship DAT trigger, the PolyDAT offers the same enhancements to trigger feel and control at nearly half the price.

At its core is a durable polymer flat-faced trigger shoe that provides a linear rearward pull, improved leverage, and more predictable shot execution compared to the factory setup. The flat geometry shortens reach, encourages proper finger placement, and gives the shooter improved control through the entire trigger cycle.

The Shield/Shield Plus PolyDAT ships as a complete drop-in upgrade package tailored for these slimline platforms. Included are an NP3-coated sear and striker block—two of the most critical engagement components in the system. These premium surface treatments minimize friction, resist wear, and maintain reliability across thousands of rounds while delivering a crisper break and smoother operation than OEM parts. The kit also comes with a trigger return spring and two sear springs, giving users the ability to fine-tune trigger characteristics to suit their personal preference—all while retaining every factory safety function.

By eliminating excess pre-travel, sharpening the break, and reducing reset length, the PolyDAT transforms the Shield and Shield Plus into more controllable, confidence-inspiring defensive tools.
